Tutorial: Recycle Baby Towel to Bathroom Door Mat

1. Get a baby or any bath towel which you don't want to use anymore
2. Fold it two times and pin all around it
3. Start your machine with straight / lockstitch all round and round
4. Taraaaaaa...it is done when you reach the middle part :D

Now you can use it as Bathroom Door Mat, yeeyyy!

Betul la, Teardrop Bag ni saya start on last May 9, 2012 :D hehe. Update about this bag ada la two posts, part 1 and part 2. Memang lebih setahun dok peram. Nasib baik jadi bag jugak.

Mod Podge: BookShelf Make Over

new look after organizing

Last weekend, I cuba mengemas my meja menjahit and try to organize all my fabrics and sewing stuff...penat tapi berbaloi la jugak. Walaupun masa tak berapa mengizinkan, I have tried. Kalau nak diikutkan, I want to do more!~ 

Yes, I want to do more...if time permits. Phewsss!! If I do have more time...I want to sew sew sew and cook!! See cooking is always in my least list ;) haha...

More importantly, I am starting to use my Mod Podge for this old bookshelf....:) yeeeyy!! Suka sangat :D

Mengemas adalah satu aktiviti yang I suka sangat selain dari menjahit. Adoi...memasak tu jatuh ke nombor berapa ek?? Dangggg...!! Nampak sangat tak suka and tak pandai memasak....kuikuikui.

I got this mod podge as a souvenir from my love one..he just came back from States. I am soo looking forward to use this mod podge for my next project..hmm like like like. There are few projects in mind..will share it once it is done..

Projects for Baby

InsyaAllah! Hopefully semua projects ni akan menjadi...sebab I nak la jugak baby merasa pakai apa yang mama jahitkan kan kannn :D

1. Baby Crib Quilt (berdebar-debar rasa nak buat sebab ni first time nak buat baby quilt...hopefully boleh buat lapik in baby's crib nanti)

Teringin nak buat Baby Crib Charm Quilt...tapi rasa macam mahal je nak beli designer's charm square. Thus, I decided to buat sendiri la kot, InsyaAllah. This is the calcualtion for my Baby Crib Quilt;

Baby Crib Quilt size will be 45" x 60"

A charm square 5" x 5"

0.5" will be for seam and finished square is 4.5"

Charm square needed;

Width : 45" / 4.5" = 10

Length : 60" / 4.5" = 13.3 ~ I will use 13

End of calculation! :D

 

2. Baby Bedding Set (macam kiut je ada satu set semua sama kann...)

3. Baby Snuggler (ni mcm bedung untuk baby, senang sikit kot kalau pakai mcm ni...let's try)

I have done cutting out the fabrics for my next projects (see few projects are floating  in my head! hehe...*wink*wink*)

• Ironing Board Cover the current one is in a bad shape...:( need an immediate replacement

a wardrobe makeover challenge for 2011?!!

This wardrobe makeover sounds interesting..project for 2011. At least ada la project kannn - menjahit untuk diri sendiri (blouse, dress, pants, etc...apa2 la asalkan boleh dipakai, InsyaAllah..)
